How is Continuous Service Calculated?. An employee, who moves between casual, part-time or full-time employment with Anglicare WA without a break in services, shall have his/her change in employment status recognised as continuous service. For the purposes of calculating continuous service for leave entitlements: • absences from work on paid leave will be counted as time worked • absences from work which are not paid will not be counted as time worked • periods of overtime or extra shifts will not be counted as time worked
