Hydrostatic strength test. The outlet opening in components is plugged and valve seats or internal blocks are made to assume the open position. One unit is tested without being subjected to other design qualification tests in order to establish a baseline burst pressure, other units are tested as specified in subsequent tests of Annex 4, paragraph 2.
