IdentityX platform Sample Clauses

IdentityX platform. IdentityX [5] platform constitutes an authentication platform that uses three biometrics retrieved from a smartphone device in order to authenticate a user to a third-party platform. According to the company, the training process has a duration of 30 seconds. The data are sent to an authentication platform that communicates and connects the third-party’s mobile app e.g. banking mobile app, and then authenticates the user (See Figure 4). The user then is able to start using the mobile app of the third-party without needing to perform any authentication process through username/password. IdentityX platform does not require from the user to remember any credentials, such as username/password, in order to login to a service. Thus, it discards the users’ pain in case they forget their credentials, or they do spelling mistakes when providing the credentials. The IdentityX platform performs authentication by using the three following biometrics • Take a selfie, where the system performs face recognition, • Speak a phrase, where the system performs voice recognition, • Touch ID, where the system uses the fingerprint biometric to identify the user. Depending on the availability of the aforementioned biometrics on a particular device, the user decides which biometric to use in order to perform authentication.
