IEPC Participation. At least one bargaining unit member who will be providing instructional or other services to a special education eligible student in a regular education classroom setting shall be invited, in writing, to participate in the Individual Educational Planning Committee (IEPC) which may initially place (or continue the placement of) the student in a regular education classroom. If the IEPC meeting is held during school hours, a substitute shall be provided for any teacher so involved.

IEPC Participation. Any bargaining unit member who will be providing instructional or other services to a handicapped student in a regular education classroom setting shall be notified in writing, of the Individual Educational Planning Committee (IEPC) which may initially place (or continue the placement of) the student in a regular education classroom. Unless directed to attend by the employer, the member may choose not to do so. The District shall provide release time in the event the District directs or authorizes a teacher to attend an IEPC which is scheduled during the time the teacher is assigned to teach a class.
IEPC Participation. Any bargaining unit member who will be providing instructional or other services to an impaired student in a general education classroom setting shall be invited, in writing, to participate in the Individual Educational Planning Committee (IEPC), which may initially place the student in a general education classroom. A substitute shall be provided for any teacher so involved, if necessary. Bargaining Unit Members will be notified in writing of each IEPC held to continue placement. General Education and Non-General Education teachers who are scheduled to meet for an IEPC outside the regular workday will be compensated for their time.
IEPC Participation. Attendance at an IEP is mandatory in accordance with federal regulations. The District shall provide release time in the event the District directs or authorizes a teacher to attend an IEPC that is scheduled during a time the teacher is assigned to teach a class. Teachers may be required to attend an IEPC during their planning time or outside the negotiated school day. Efforts will be made to schedule the IEP as close to the school day as possible.

  • Union Participation The Employer agrees not to interfere with the rights of the employees to become members of the Union and there shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion by the Employer or any Employer representative against any employee because of Union membership or because of any employee activity officially sanctioned by this contract on behalf of the Union.

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • Voluntary Participation The Grantee’s participation in the Plan is voluntary. The value of the Restricted Stock Units is an extraordinary item of compensation. Unless otherwise expressly provided in a separate agreement between the Grantee and the Company or a Subsidiary, the Restricted Stock Units are not part of normal or expected compensation for purposes of calculating any severance, resignation, redundancy, end-of-service payments, bonuses, long-service awards, pension or retirement benefits or similar payments.
