Illness, Disability, Death in Family. 1. a. All teachers, regularly employed for the school year, who are absent from duty due to personal illness, shall be entitled to use Sick Leave Days, in accordance with the terms of this article. Teachers will be credited with twelve (12) annual Sick Leave Days for that contract year. It is agreed that for teachers who work a partial year, any factional days which are equal to or greater than .25 will be rounded to the nearest .5 day.
