Common use of IN PAY Clause in Contracts

IN PAY. An employee who has not been notified in advance 'not to report for work" and who reports for his regular scheduled shift will be given the opportunity to work at least four (4) hours of work, and if no work is available he will be paid for a minimum of four (4) hours at base hourly rate.
