Common use of Increment Advancement Date Clause in Contracts

Increment Advancement Date. (a) Regular Employees shall progress on a year-to-year basis along the increment scale by moving the Employee to the next increment step, where applicable, on the Employee’s employment date. This shall be the Employee’s increment date. (b) In the case of reclassification of an Employee, the Employee’s increment date shall be altered to become the date of reclassification as set out in Article 25.03. In the case of an unpaid Leave of Absence in excess of twenty- eight (28) calendar days, the increment date shall be altered by the length of an unpaid Leave of Absence, other than pregnancy and parental leave in which case the increment date shall be unchanged.
