Common use of Indemnification and Hold Harmless Clause Clause in Contracts

Indemnification and Hold Harmless Clause. The Union agrees to indemnify and save the Board harmless against any and all claims, suits and other forms of liability that may arise out of or by reason of action taken in reliance upon individual authorization furnished to the Board by the Union, or for the purpose of complying with any provisions of this Article. The right and obligation to refund to employees monies deducted from their pay and remitted to the Union under such authorization shall lie solely with the Union.
