PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. 12.01 The Company shall deduct from the payroll of employees on each pay period, from wages due and payable to all employees coming within the scope of this agreement, an amount as provided by the Union, subject to the conditions described below. 12.02 The amount to be deducted shall be equivalent to the regular dues payment of the Union and may include initiation fees, fines, or special assessments. The amount to be deducted will only be changed during the term of the agreement to conform to a change in the amount of regular dues of the Union in accordance with its constitutional provisions. 12.03 If the wages of an employee payable on the payroll for the last pay period of any month are insufficient to permit the deduction of the full amount of dues, no such deduction shall be made from the wages of such employee by the Company in such month. The Company shall, because the employee did not have sufficient wages payable to him on the designated payroll, carry forward and deduct from any subsequent wages the dues not deducted in an earlier month. 12.04 Only payroll deductions now or hereafter required by law, as well as benefit and pension deductions, shall be made from wages prior to the deduction of dues. 12.05 The amount of dues so deducted from wages accompanied by a statement of deductions from individuals, shall be remitted by the Company to the Union as may be mutually agreed by the Union and the Company, not later than thirty (30) calendar days following the month in which the deductions were made. 12.06 The Union agrees to indemnify and save the Company harmless against any claim or liability arising out of the application of this article. However, in any instances in which an error occurs in the amount of any deduction of dues from an employee’s wages, the Company shall adjust the amount in a subsequent remittance. 12.07 The Union will provide the Company with a percentage or other amount of basic wages to be applied for the purpose of dues deductions.

PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. The Board shall make the authorized deduction of dues in equal amounts from each paycheck of the employee on dates determined by the Association and submitted to the Board Treasurer.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. The City agrees to deduct from the wages of each Association member, upon the written request of the member, the sum certified as bi-weekly Association dues and deposit such deductions to the bank account of the Association no later than seven (7) days after the end of a pay period. The bank shall be designated by the Treasurer of the Association. No later than seven (7) days after the end of a pay period the City shall provide to the Association a detailed written accounting of dues deductions and deposits. This authorization for payroll deduction of dues shall remain in full force and effect unless the member subsequently requests in writing the withdrawal of the original authorization.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. Section 3.1 On receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization from an employee, the City will deduct from the employee's pay the amount so specified by said employee, but not less than regular dues. The amounts to be deducted shall be certified to the City by the Treasurer of the Union, and the aggregate deductions of all employees shall be remitted together with an itemized statement, to the Treasurer within ten (10) working days after such deductions are made. Any employee desiring to withdraw from dues deduction must sign a withdrawal card thirty (30) days prior to withdrawal and must have the signature of the Union President or his/her designee. Union withdrawal cards can be obtained from Union officers and stewards.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. The Association will submit an authorization form for each employee who wishes to participate in payroll deduction for the Association of Harford County Administrative, Technical and Supervisory Professionals dues. Each form must bear the original signature of the employee who authorizes this deduction. These forms will be submitted to the Director of Finance prior to November 1 of each year. During the month of November, the Board will supply the Association with a list of employees on payroll deduction as of October 31. The Board agrees to deduct from the pay of each unit member all Association dues that the employee voluntarily authorizes through the appropriate authorization form supplied by the Association. These deductions shall continue for each subsequent school year. The Association will notify the Board of those unit members who cancel their payroll deduction of Association dues no later than September 30 of each year. Payroll deduction shall be withdrawn the first two pays in November and the first two pays in December. In the case of resignation within a school year, the balance due that year will be deducted from the final check.

Upon appropriate written authorization from the employee, the City shall deduct from the wages of each member the authorized deduction for Association dues from the salary of the employee and make appropriate remittance to the Association. 2. The City agrees to honor all such authorized deductions presently in effect. 3. Upon termination of an employee the current month dues will be deducted from the final check. 4. The employee’s earnings must be sufficient after required deductions are made to cover the amount of appropriate Association deductions. When the employee’s wages are not sufficient to cover the full employee withholding, no Association deductions for dues will be made. 5. The Association agrees to indemnify, defend and hold the City harmless against any and all claims or suits that may arise out of or by reason of action taken by the City in reliance upon any authorization cards submitted by the Association to the City. 6. The Association agrees to refund the City any excess amounts paid to it in error, on account of the payroll deduction provision, upon presentation of proper evidence of error or mistake.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES. 4.1: On receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization from an employee, on a form approved by the City’s Director, General Accounting Division, the City will deduct each pay period from the employee’s pay, the amount specified by said employee, but not less than regular dues. 4.2: The City will remit to the Union Treasurer such sums every second pay period together with a list of employees for whom deductions were made. 4.3: Changes in the Union’s membership dues shall be certified to the City, in writing, over the signatures of the authorized Officer(s) of the Union, at least thirty (30) days in advance of the effective date of such change. 4.4: The City’s remittance shall be deemed correct if the Union does not give a written notice to the City within two (2) calendar weeks after remittance is received of its belief, with reasons stated therefore, that the remittance is incorrect. 4.5: Any employee may revoke, in writing, with thirty (30) days prior notice to the City and the Union, his authorization for dues deductions. 4.6: The Union will indemnify, defend and hold the City harmless against any claims made and against any suit instituted against the City on account of the Check-off of Union dues.
