Indemnification for Vegetation Management Projects. The STATE agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the COUNTY, its agents, officers and employees, from and against any and all liability expense, including defense costs and legal fees, and claims for damages of any nature whatsoever, arising solely out of performance by the COUNTY of approved vegetation management projects undertaken as part of fire prevention activities under this Agreement.
