Independent Status of Vendor. In the performance of this Contract, the parties will be acting in their individual, corporate or governmental capacities and not as agents, employees, partners, joint venturers, or associates of one another. The parties intend that an independent contractor relationship will be created by this Contract. The employees or agents of one party shall not be deemed or construed to be the employees or agents of the other party for any purpose whatsoever. Vendor shall not make any claim of right, privilege or benefit which would accrue to an employee under chapter 41.06 RCW or Title 51 RCW.
