Common use of Individual User Units Clause in Contracts

Individual User Units. 4.1 For the purposes of calculating Individual User Fees, the number of " Individual User Units" shall, in relation to any single Individual User during any one month, be the number of End User Receptors on the Specified Date (or if the number is variable on that date, the maximum number of End User Receptors for that day) permitted to access the Information by means of Licensee-derived authorization. Such authorization shall include but shall not be limited to passwords, user ID logons, access codes or security codes or any more general means of authorization such as those granted ‘en bloc’ to a specified maximum number of individual users and/or regulated by remote on-line audit tools without using passwords or the like.
