Common use of Industrial First Aid Certificate Clause in Contracts

Industrial First Aid Certificate. 1. The Employer shall pay an allowance of one percent (1%) of PA Maximum per annum to a teacher or teachers holding a valid Industrial First Aid certificate and designated by the Employer as the first aid attendant in a school pursuant to the W.C.B. Regulations. 2. The Employer shall reimburse the applicable course fees for the renewal of the certificate, subject to successful completion of the course by such designated teacher. It will be the responsibility of the teacher to apply for this reimbursement and provide proof of payment and proof of successful completion of the course. 3. It is understood that the Employer may designate an employee other than a member of the bargaining unit.
