Common use of INFORMATION -- RECORDS Clause in Contracts

INFORMATION -- RECORDS. The Contract-Holder will furnish all information which Prudential may reasonably require for the administration of this contract. If the Contract-Holder cannot furnish any required item of information, Prudential may request the person concerned to furnish the information. Prudential will not be liable for the fulfillment of any obligations in any way dependent upon information unless and until it receives the information in a form satisfactory to it. Information furnished to Prudential may be corrected for demonstrated errors in it unless Prudential has already acted to its prejudice by relying on the information. Except for the corrections, information furnished to Prudential will be regarded as conclusive. Prudential will maintain the records necessary for its administration of this contract. These records will be prepared from the information furnished to Prudential and will constitute evidence as to the truth of the information in the records.
