Common use of Initial Participants Clause in Contracts

Initial Participants. In addition to Parties executing this Agreement on or prior to the Effective Date, any incorporated municipality, county, or other eligible public agency may become a Party and recognized as an Initial Participant provided during the first 180 days after the Effective Date it executes this Agreement and delivers an executed copy of this Agreement and a copy of the adopted ordinance required by Public Utilities Code Section 366.2(c)(12)

All Initial Participants to this Agreement shall be required to commence electric service as soon as practicable, as determined by the Board.
