Committee Participation. 9.01 Except as otherwise provided in this Collective Agreement, an Employee (or the Employee’s alternate) who is a member and attends meetings of a committee established by the Employer, shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at such meetings. Such participation shall be voluntary.
Committee Participation. 38.01 Except as otherwise provided in this Collective Agreement an Employee who is directed to attend meetings by the Employer, shall be paid at the Employee’s basic hourly rate of pay for attendance at such meetings.
Committee Participation. Resident shall participate, when invited, in institutional committee councils, especially those that relate to patient care review and healthcare professional activities.
Committee Participation. The following committees address Resident issues:
A. The Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) is the institutional oversight committee which reviews all accredited Programs at UCLA. The GMEC addresses specific issues related to the academic Programs, and is a School of Medicine committee. The GMEC members perform oversight of all residency programs as mandated by the ACGME. All Programs must be approved by the GMEC. The GMEC also works closely with individual programs to assist them with their RRC accreditation site visits. This Committee meets monthly and is composed of Residency Program Directors, administration, faculty and Residents. Residents who are interested in serving on the GMEC may contact the GME Office for details.
B. Medical Staff Committees Residents are appointed to serve and participate on a variety of Medical Staff Committees which involve Resident training. Residents interested in serving on any of these committees should contact the GME Office for details.
Committee Participation. (a) In addition to the duties included in their jobs, Type A staff members are expected to participate on UFV committees. Participation will take place on UFV time.
(b) Staff with Type C contracts are encouraged to participate on UFV committees. Participation will take place on UFV time.
(c) Participation in more than one (1) UFV committee whose activities require the Type A or Type C employee to be absent from his or her regular duties requires approval of the appropriate senior administrator. The appropriate senior administrator shall provide the necessary preparation time for such committee work.
Committee Participation. A. By August 31 of each year, the Association will provide the District a broad based list of at least fifty (50) names of teachers for committee participation. The Association may update this list as needed throughout the year. Whenever a major District committee is formed that requires teacher participation, at least one (1) name shall be selected from the list. The District will provide a list of major District committees, and requirements for serving if applicable, to the Association president or designee prior to August 1 of each year. The District will inform the Association president or designee as other major District committees are formed.
B. The Association will designate a minimum of seven (7) and up to twelve (12) names from the list in paragraph 6.A. to be utilized on committees that have been mutually agreed upon by the Board of Education and the Association as having potential impact to the Negotiated Agreement.
C. The Association will provide a list of names, representing at least twenty (20) percent of the teachers at that site, to each site principal for participation on site level committees. The site principal shall select at least one (1) name from the list for each site level committee requiring teacher participation.
Committee Participation. An SEIU representative(s) shall be a member of the following district-wide committees:
Committee Participation. Since a joint member does not have tenure in the secondary unit, a joint member may participate in the deliberations of the collegial committees referred to in Articles 13, 14, 15, or 16, in the secondary unit but shall not vote unless co-opted under the provisions of Articles 13.5.1.2, 15.8.1, 15.8.2, 16.3.1 or 16.3.2.
Committee Participation. Merck may terminate and/or restrict NGM’s participation on the Joint NP201 Committee, JRC, JEDC, JLDC, JCC or any other joint committee under this Agreement as such participation pertains to such Optioned Target and any NGM Optioned Products associated with such Optioned Target (and the applicable Modulation Category); and
Committee Participation. The LMC shall be composed of a member of the SEIU Local 995 Executive Board and, three (3) bargaining unit members appointed by the Union and up to four (4) Employer representatives. Both parties agree to exchange written agendas a minimum of one (1) week prior to all scheduled meetings.
