Common use of Initiation of Negotiation Clause in Contracts

Initiation of Negotiation. Within sixty (60) days after the Railroad issues a notice under Section 4(a) of this award term B.5, the Railroad or the Protected Employees (or their representatives) may, by written notice to the other party, request a meeting and opportunity to negotiate an agreement with respect to the application of the terms and conditions of this award term B.5. These negotiations shall commence within fourteen (14) days from the receipt of such request.
