Common use of Inoperable City Vehicles Clause in Contracts

Inoperable City Vehicles. The City may, from time-to-time, require the removal of inoperable City vehicles from the public right-of-way and towing to an appropriate City facility. The Contractor/Service Provider occupying the first position on the Call List (as described in Section II.L) shall provide such services to the City at the rate of $50 per tow. C.1 Occasionally, the City may require the response of the on-call Contractor/Service Provider to assist with the changing of flat tires, jump starts and/or unlocking vehicles (lockouts) of City vehicles. Such service shall be provided by the tow company occupying the first position on the Call List at a cost of $35 per occurrence.
