Inservice Meetings. Inservice meetings called by the support staff supervisors are mandatory. All employees shall be compensated at their regular rate of pay for time beyond regular work hours.
Inservice Meetings. Employees required to attend in-service or staff meetings during hours that they are not scheduled to work shall be paid at their regular rate of pay for all time spent attending the meetings as well as thirty-two cents ($0.32) per kilometer (or hospital policy whichever is greater) for the distances traveled to and from the meetings.
Inservice Meetings. Whenever employees voluntarily request in-service meetings, they shall attend such meetings on their own time. Whenever employees are required to attend in-service meetings by any administrative official of the Board, they shall be paid at their regular hourly rate or time and one-half, whichever is applicable, for all time required in attendance at such meetings.

Any absence affecting the benefit calculations shall be applied in the following month.
