Inspection of Equipment. All empty equipment provided for loading should be inspected prior to loading to ensure that it is in suitable condition to protect and preserve the freight during transit. This inspection, at a minimum, should include closing the doors and inspecting for any light that would indicate that the unit structure is compromised. You should promptly notify us of any rejected equipment. If an investigation reveals that defects in equipment could reasonably have been discovered prior to loading, any claim for loss or damage will be declined.
