Plant and Materials. The Contractor ensures that all Plant and Materials, services and work supplied in terms of this contract conform to all applicable environmental legislation and in the Contractor’s residing country and to the Employer’s environmental specifications. The Contractor ensures that the Employer’s chemical restrictions and controls at Koeberg (CRACK) programme (KAA-751) are adhered to.

4.1 Employer’s site entry and security control, permits, and site regulations The contractor must send its employees for the PSR course which is offered at ▇▇▇▇▇ power station to get authorised as RP’s according to plant safety regulations. The contractor will take out permits for their plant areas and ensure that the isolations are correct before accepting the permit to work. No work will commence without the permit to work

a) The Employer will provide power supply, water and land for the storage of equipment and material.
b) The Employer will supply all the necessary material required to execute the Works. Once these are handed over to the Contractor, the Contractor is responsible for collection of these, transportation from Eskom stores and ensuring safeguarding of these.
c) Should the Contractor need to use of any of the Employer’s Equipment, including compressed air, electricity, water supply and crane, it must be specified by the Contractor. The Employer does not guarantee continuity of supply of any of these items.
Plant and Materials. (a) Plant and Materials supplied by the Employer
Plant and Materials. The Supplier shall provide evidence of the Logistics Management / Quality Management System of the Transporter, providing assurance of on-time delivery of the product of the required quality. The Supplier shall notify the Contract Manager in writing of any request to change the Transporter of the product. This shall be assessed after a technical evaluation. The Supplier shall perform an inspection of an off-loading event in the presence of purchaser’s staff at each site at least once a year and shall issue a report to the Contract Manager. The Supplier shall supply the Certificate of Analysis showing that that the chemical in the tanker meets the specification and shall take a sample from the tanker for analysis by the Eskom personnel
