Inspection of Site. The Contractor shall inspect and examine the site and its surrounding and shall satisfy himself before submitting his tender as to the nature of the ground and sub-soils (so far as is practicable), the form and nature of the site, the quantities and nature of work and materials necessary for the completion of the works and the means of access to the site, the accommodation he may require, availability of labour, water, electric power. In general he shall himself obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect his tender. No extra charges consequent on any misunderstanding or otherwise shall be allowed.
