Instruction and Faculty. a. Coordinate recruitment, hiring processes, and provide orientation for new adjunct faculty in conjunction with the discipline lead. b. Make recommendations on adjunct faculty hiring and assignment in class scheduling. c. May provide peer mentoring to adjunct faculty within the discipline. d. Prepare FT faculty position requests for department and work with division chairs on recruitment and selection of full-time faculty. e. Coordinate and review disciplinary curriculum development. f. Receive, hear, and respond to student complaints in accordance with established procedures. g. Communicate with discipline faculty. h. Provide orientation for new full-time faculty. i. May conduct peer observations of full-time and adjunct faculty as requested.
