Common use of INSTRUCTIONAL STIPENDS Clause in Contracts

INSTRUCTIONAL STIPENDS. 1. Career and Technical Education(CTE) Career and Technical Education teachers – CTE teachers holding a state issued CTE license shall receive 0.226% of the Base Salary for each CTE approved course that is included in a state approved CTE program. The stipend is to be paid in two (2) equal amounts with the December and June paychecks. Teachers receiving their CTE endorsement during the second semester and who have shown proof of CTE endorsement to their CTE supervisor prior to the end of business on the last Thursday in April shall receive the total stipend to be paid in a single amount in the June paycheck. 2. Individual Education Plan IEP/504 Meetings Teachers will not be required, beyond normal contract provisions, to attend IEP/504 Meetings beyond the work day or to attend IEP/504 Meetings during their planning time or duty free lunch, except in instances in which the law would require such attendance. The administration will make every effort to schedule IEP/504 Meetings within the teacher’s work day and at times that do not conflict with a teacher’s planning time or duty free lunch. After other options have been explored and it is determined that teachers are required by law to attend IEP/504 Meetings at such times, they will be reimbursed at the full general hourly rate as specified in Article XV.A.5.
