INSULATION DISCLOSURE. Seller advises Purchaser that insulation has been or will be installed in the Unit. The location, type, approximate thickness and approximate R-value (according to the manufacturers thereof) of the insulation are as follows: The R-Value is based solely on information given by applicable manufacturers (based on thicknesses listed) and Owner agrees that Contractor is not responsible for any manufacturer’s errors. Contractor reserves the right to use a different type of insulation with a different thickness and R-Value in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
INSULATION DISCLOSURE. Seller has advised Purchaser, as required by the rules of the Federal Trade Commission, that the Unit contains the following insulation: (a) insulation having an R-Value of R-19 in the exterior walls, (b) roof insulation having a minimum R-Value of R-30, (c) above grade floors are insulated below the floor deck with insulation having a minimum R-Value of R-13. This R-Value information is based solely on the information given by the appropriate manufacturers and Purchaser agrees that Seller is not responsible for the manufacturers' errors. All insulation and energy efficiency rating information is subject to Seller's general right, under this Contract to make changes in the plans and specifications, and to applicable limitations of Seller's liability to Purchaser.
INSULATION DISCLOSURE. If insulation information described below is not provided at the time of this Agreement, Seller shall have five (5) days from the Time Reference Date to provide the required insulation information under U.S. Federal Trade Commission Regulations, including the R-Value, type, and thickness of insulation installed in the walls and ceilings of the Property. Buyer shall have time specified in Paragraph 5 of the Agreement (INVESTIGATIONS, INSPECTIONS, AND REVIEWS) to inspect and review
INSULATION DISCLOSURE. Seller agrees that the insulation in the Unit meets, at a minimum, the following specifications or such other specifications as Seller may provide to Purchaser: (i) Glass portions of exterior walls shall use insulated glass with a thickness of 3/4 of an inch, which will, according to the manufacturer, yield an R-value of 5. (ii) Non-glass portions of exterior walls shall be insulated with foam insulation to a thickness of 3.5 inches, which will, according to the manufacturer, yield an R-value of 13. (iii) No insulation against heat transfer will be installed in ceilings and floors between Units. The R-Value shown above is based solely on the information given by the appropriate manufacturers (based on the thicknesses listed). Purchaser agrees that Seller shall not be responsible for the manufacturers' errors or omissions or for slight variations in thickness and actual R-value due to construction conditions. Seller reserves the right to substitute a different type of insulation and/or minimum thickness and/or minimum R-value in the Unit; however, Seller shall provide Purchaser with a disclosure sheet setting forth the type, thickness, and R-value of the substituted insulation as soon as the information is available to Seller.
