Insulation Resistance Test. After completion of the voltage test the insulation resistance between each conductor and the remaining conductors in the cable, shall be measured and shall be greater than the values specified BS 6346.
Insulation Resistance Test. This test is designed to check for a potential failure of the insulation between the LNG pressure and/or temperature sensor connection pins and the housing. Apply 1,000 V DC between one of the connector pins and the housing of the LNG pressure and/or temperature sensor for at least 2 seconds. The minimum allowable resistance shall be > 10 MΩ.
