Common use of Insurance-Related Undertakings Clause in Contracts

Insurance-Related Undertakings. 8.2.1 Prior to the Commencement Date and promptly upon the renewal of Insurances, Lessee shall provide Lessor with documentation reasonably satisfactory to Lessor: (i) certifying that the Insurances are in effect; and (ii) containing a broker's undertaking or certificate, if customary in the market where the Insurances are placed, confirming compliance with the insurance requirements hereunder. 8.2.2 Maintaining the Insurances in full force and effect is an essential term of this Agreement. Xxxxxx agrees not to take action, or fail to act, where doing so poses a risk that any of the Insurances may be invalidated or rendered void. The foregoing is without prejudice to 13.1. 8.2.3 Without prejudice to 14.1(ii), and save as provided in 13.1, in the event Lessee fails to comply with 8.1, Lessor may take action to ensure that (i) the Insurances remain in effect or (ii) the risks to be covered thereby are otherwise satisfactorily insured against. The costs associated with such Lessor action shall be for the account of Lessee. 8.2.4 Lessee shall promptly respond to reasonable requests by Lessor for material insurance-related information.
