Common use of Interest Checking - Genuine Blue and Heritage Plus Clause in Contracts

Interest Checking - Genuine Blue and Heritage Plus. 1. Minimum Balance Requirements To open an Interest Checking account, you must deposit $100.00 or more. The minimum balance required to earn interest is $100.00. A minimum balance fee will be imposed at the end of each calendar month if the average daily balance falls below $1,000.00. When the primary account owner reaches the age of 50, he or she should notify the Bank that they are eligible for the Heritage Plus account. Any applicable average daily balance fees charged in the future would then be based on the Heritage Plus account, as opposed to the Genuine Blue account. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period.
