INTEREST OR WITHDRAWAL. Credited Interest in the event of the retirement, termination of employment, or death of a Member during a Plan Year shall be calculated at an effective rate per annum equal to the 12-month average of the non-chequeable savings deposit rates in the Bank of Canada Review dated September 30 of the immediately preceding year and shall be applied from the end of the immediately preceding Plan year end to the first day of the month in which monies are withdrawn from the fund to provide the benefit entitlement.
