Internal Hires. A current CMU employee who applies for and is hired as a Dispatcher shall be placed on a trial period for the first year of his/her continuous employment as a Dispatcher in the Department. Upon successful completion of the trial period, he/she shall be entered on a seniority list of the Department and shall be credited with full seniority for continuous service from the latest date of hire as a regular employee with the University including the trial period. There shall be no seniority among trial period Dispatchers. Discharge or discipline of trial period Dispatchers is not grievable under this Agreement.
