Interoperability for Payers. The MAO shall implement the applicable interoperability requirements included in CMS’ and The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s (ONC’s) rules, technical requirements and timelines encompassing the interoperability of electronic health record and patient access to protected health information, as published in the Federal Register of May 1, 2020, and as may be amended.
