Interpretation of Contract Documents. A.3.1 Unless otherwise specifically defined in the Contract Documents, words which have well-known technical meanings or construction industry meanings are used in the Contract Documents in accordance with such recognized meanings. Contract Documents are intended to be complementary. Whatever is called for in one, is interpreted to be called for in all. However, in the event of conflicts or discrepancies among the Contract Documents, interpretations will be based on the following descending order of precedence: 1. Contract amendments and Change Orders, with those of later date having precedence over those of an earlier date; 2. The Supplemental General Conditions; 3. The State of Oregon Public Improvement Agreement Form; 4. The General Conditions 5. The Plans and Specifications 6. The Solicitation Document and any addenda thereto;
