Interruption of Crew Rest. To allow for uninterrupted rest prior to commencing a flight assignment, a pilot normally shall not be required to receive or acknowledge communications during a twelve (12)-hour period immediately prior to a scheduled report time for a flight. Communications about the postponement or cancellation of a report time or training assignment will not be deemed to interfere with required rest periods.
