Intervention Assistance. Response to Intervention (RtI) participation shall be a voluntary activity and shall not be an assigned duty with the exception of the high school where it may be an assigned duty for teachers who do not have a case manager load. RtI meetings shall be held during the school day whenever possible. The case manager shall be granted release time for attendance at RtI meetings.
Intervention Assistance. The limitation of five (5) formal observations does not include a reasonable number of formal observations conducted for employees identified as having serious performance deficiencies and receiving assistance and support.
Intervention Assistance. Team meetings may occur before, during or after school and are scheduled to accommodate parents, teachers and related personnel schedules and commitments. Teachers shall rotate their attendance at such meetings. Coverage shall be provided for any teacher required to attend meetings scheduled and conducted during the student day. Consistent with meeting the schedules of parents/guardians, every reasonable effort will be made to schedule IAT/IEP meetings within thirty (30) minutes of the start or end of the teacher’s regularly scheduled workday.
