Introductory Hotel Employee. Employees at this level have no prior formal training and have no, or very limited, knowledge of the employer’s systems or procedures and the work performed in the hotel and/or the industry generally. Employees at this level require direct supervision and training. Training may be either on or off the job or a combination of both. Employees may remain at this level for up to a maximum of 3 months before progressing to the appropriate level.
