Common use of Inventory Control Positions Clause in Contracts

Inventory Control Positions. ‌ Notwithstanding the other provisions of this article the following shall apply regarding Inventory Control positions: a) Vacancies will be posted in accordance with 4.06. b) A reasonable training period of up to two (2) months shall be provided to the successful applicant. Dependent upon the employee’s progress during the training period, he/she may become qualified before the two (2) months are completed or he/she may be taken off the training at any time during the two (2) months due to lack of reasonable progress. c) Employees in these positions shall give a minimum of two (2) months written notice of desire to vacate the position. d) Any changes in the position’s hours shall result in its re-posting.
