First Aid. The employer will appoint an employee who holds a current First Aid certificate and who is covered by this agreement as first aid attendant. Any first aid chest, box or cupboard provided by the employer will be in control of that employee and his/her name will be made known throughout the establishment in which he/she is employed and will be inscribed on the first aid chest, box or cupboard.
First Aid. The Employer will stock and maintain first aid cabinets in accordance with the OH&S code of practice. In keeping with industry standards the Employer will encourage sufficient numbers of Employees to be trained in first aid. Nothing in this agreement entitles an employee to payment of any first aid allowance.
First Aid. In addition to the requirements of the Workers' Compensation Board, wherever three or more employees are required to work in an isolated location, one of the employees shall, whenever possible, hold a valid Occupational First Aid Certificate.
First Aid. In this establishment a first aid cabinet shall be available for employees in the case of an accident. Such first aid cabinet shall be kept and maintained in accordance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995, relating to such first aid cabinets.
First Aid. The College will pay authorized registration fees for the renewal of First Aid cards for employees who are required to have First Aid. Time spent in these and other such required training classes or courses will be compensated at the rate noted in Article 23.3.
First Aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be made available in all Employer work sites. The employer shall make provision of facilities and training for first aid, taking into account the nature of the work performed by employees and the proximity of medical assistance. The employer will provide and properly maintain a medical aid log book at each first aid station.
First Aid. An employee who is qualified in first aid and is appointed by the enterprise to carry out first aid duties in addition to his/her usual duties will be paid an additional rate of $2.17 per day.
First Aid. The Employer shall appoint competent first aid persons to cover first aid work at each location in accordance with Workers' Compensation Board regulations.
First Aid. Employee holder of a valid certificate of first aid granted by an organization recognized by the Commission and of which the nature of work does not compromise in any way his fast and effective intervention
