IT Specialist. Provides administrative support for activities pertaining to software applications utilizing commercial database management systems. Includes: user administration, data gathering, data retrieval, and manipulations. Reviews computer systems in terms of machine capabilities and man- machine interface. Prepares reports and studies concerning hardware. Prepares functional requirements and specifications. Minimum Education/Experience: Must have minimum relevant experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
IT Specialist. An Associate in Science (AS) or Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience. Four (4) years of directly related experience in systems engineering, administration, and security applied to RDT&E and business environments, DOD and Information Technology systems, minimum certification as IAT or IAM Level II and OS or networking certification per DoD 8570.01-M, demonstrated experience with secure MS Windows server and desktop systems configurations, military system specifications, system administration, demonstrated experience with various IA-enabled appliances, systems and applications. and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations may substitute for AS/AA/AAS. Relevant experience: MS Windows 7, MS Server 2008/2012, WSUS, SIEM products, virtualization software, MS SQL database, DISA STIGS, Shavlik, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/Nessus, PKI, Storage Area Networks, backup/restore solutions, RHEL5/6/7, LINUX Variants UNIX, syslog products, and DNS.
IT Specialist. Duties
15.2.20.1 Maintain IT systems and functionality.
15.2.20.2 Support IT projects including the set-up of new workstations.
15.2.20.3 Perform troubleshooting of IT issues.
15.2.20.4 Maintain an IT inventory log (Desktops, laptops, air cards, phones, etc.).
15.2.20.5 Manage all new employee accounts, and cancellations (change passwords).
15.2.20.6 Set up IT connection for meetings. 15.2.20.7 Update staff distribution list. Minimum Qualifications 15.2.20.8 Advanced computer literacy. 15.2.20.9 Reliable transportation to multiple sites on a regular basis.
30. The parties agree that separate copies of this Amendment may be signed by each of the parties, and this Amendment will have the same force and effect as if the original had been signed by all parties.
