Common use of ITS to local exchange Clause in Contracts

ITS to local exchange. The framing structure of the signal between the ITS and the local exchange is defined by ITU-T G.704 10/1998, `Synchronous frame structures used at 1544, 6312, 2048, 8448 and 44 736 kbit/s hierarchical levels', and ITU-T G.706 04/1991, `Frame alignment and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) procedures relating to basic frame structures defined in Recommendation G.704'. The voice coding for circuit-switched traffic complies with ITU-T G.711 11/1988, `Pulse code modulation (PCM) of voice frequencies'. Signaling between the ITS and the local exchange uses the V5.2 protocol, defined in the ETSI V5.1 Specification ETS 300 324-1, V 1.2.2, `V-Interfaces at the digital local exchange (LE) - V5.1-Interface (based on 2048 kbit/s) for the support of access network (AN)', and ETSI V5.2 Specification ETS 300 347-1, V 2.1.2, `V-interfaces at the digital local exchange (LE) - V5.2 interface (based on 2048 kbit/s) for the support of access network (AN)'. Only requirements for PSTN services apply to Internet FWA.
