Common use of Joint Patent Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Patent Committee. 8.1.1. Unless the Parties mutually agree to establish it sooner, the Parties will establish a “Joint Patent Committee” or “JPC” upon the [***]. The JPC will serve as the primary contact and forum for discussion between the Parties with respect to intellectual property matters arising under this Agreement, and will cooperate with respect to the activities set forth in this Section 8.1. If the JPC dissolves, each Party may designate a patent attorney who will be responsible for intellectual property matters under this Agreement.
