Common use of Joint Research Agreements Clause in Contracts

Joint Research Agreements. The Parties intend that this Agreement is and will be understood to be a “joint research agreement” (as that term is defined in 35 U.S.C. § 100(h) and used in 35 U.S.C. § 102(c)), entered into for the purposes of researching, identifying and Developing Collaboration Compounds, Collaboration Candidates and Licensed Products. The Parties will coordinate their activities with respect to any submissions, filings or other activities in support thereof.
