Sensitive Information. Information that requires special precautions to protect from unauthorized use, access, disclosure, modification, loss, or deletion. Sensitive Information may be either Public Information or Confidential Information. It is information that requires a higher than normal assurance of accuracy and completeness. Thus, the key factor for Sensitive Information is that of integrity. Typically, Sensitive Information includes records of agency financial transactions and regulatory actions.

Sensitive Information. Sensitive information that is contained in any Legacy Devices or applications shall be encrypted if practical. In addition, sensitive data will be encrypted in all newly developed applications. Since sensitive information is subjective, it shall be defined by each Participating State or Entity in their Participating Addendum.

Receiving Party shall promptly notify Disclosing Party if it becomes aware, or has reason to believe, that any breach of this Section has occurred, that any unauthorized access to or use of, or any security breach relating to or otherwise affecting, any Sensitive Information has occurred, or that any person who has had access to Sensitive Information has violated or intends to violate the terms of this Agreement. Receiving Party shall, at its own expense, cooperate with Disclosing Party in investigating and responding to the foregoing.

Sensitive Information. If the Services will be used to otherwise transmit or process Sensitive Information, Customer will ensure that it has the right to use such Sensitive information, and that all Sensitive Information is captured and used solely via the use of available security features.
