Kindergarten Aides Clause Samples
The 'Kindergarten Aides' clause defines the roles, responsibilities, and employment terms for aides working in kindergarten classrooms. It typically outlines the required qualifications, duties such as assisting teachers with classroom management and supporting student activities, and may specify working hours or supervision arrangements. This clause ensures that expectations for kindergarten aides are clearly established, helping to maintain a supportive learning environment and clarifying the support structure for both teachers and students.
Kindergarten Aides. In the event that an aide assigned to a kindergarten class is absent, the Board shall make every effort to assign a substitute. If a substitute aide is not assigned and the kindergarten teacher is without any aide for two consecutive days, the teacher shall be compensated at V2 of the rate set forth in Section Paragraph “N” Rates of Pay, above.
Kindergarten Aides. Beginning with the 2006-2007 school year, Kindergarten classrooms will be allocated aide assistance based upon the number of student sections and the North Central Association Accreditation recommendation. Each half-day section of Kindergarten will count as one section, with full day sections counting as two sections. Allocation will be as follows: • 3 or less sections – 1.0 Aide • 4 – 6 sections – 1.5 Aides • 7 or more sections – 2.0 Aides These allocations will be reviewed in the Spring annually and may be adjusted to meet enrollment projections, budget considerations, or changes in recommendations from North Central Association.
