Common use of Landlord's Disclaimer Clause in Contracts

Landlord's Disclaimer. Without affecting Tenant’s right to abatement as expressly provided in this Lease, Landlord and Landlord’s Agents shall not be liable to Tenant for any loss or damage to Tenant’s property resulting from fire, explosion, falling plaster, glass, tile or sheetrock, steam, gas, electricity, water or rain which may leak from any part of the Building, or from the pipes, appliances or plumbing works therein or from the roof, street or subsurface, or from any other cause whatsoever. Tenant shall give prompt written notice to Landlord in case of a casualty, accident or repair needed in the Premises.
