Large scale productions. There may be occasions when programmes wish to record short items of Opera, Ballet or Theatre productions featuring a large number of artists. These may include brief recordings for interval and introductory features and allied programming during relays. Subject to the Union’s consent and the agreement of the artists, a lump sum payment of not less than £237 may be made to the Company to allow an aggregate of up to 3 minutes material to be transmitted and it is the company’s decision as to how the payment is allocated.
