Last Day to Transfer. Transfer applications from teachers shall be accepted through the last day of school. If a position becomes available after the last day of school, it shall be filled by a candidate who is not currently employed as a licensed educator in the district. The teacher filling the position will be eligible for consideration for priority to present staff as described in 14.1.1.

The Human Resources Administrator may facilitate transfers based on individual circumstances with the agreement of both the teachers and principals. Considerable effort shall be given to facilitate transfers of teachers who have been with the same school for five (5) or more years, and who desire to transfer.
