Late Case/Hold Over/Inverse Sample Clauses
The Late Case/Hold Over/Inverse clause addresses situations where a party remains in possession of property or continues a contractual relationship beyond the agreed-upon term without formal renewal. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions, such as increased fees or penalties, that apply if the tenant or user does not vacate or return the property on time. For example, a lease might specify that holding over results in a higher month-to-month rent or additional charges. The core function of this clause is to discourage unauthorized extensions and provide clear consequences, thereby protecting the interests of the property owner or service provider.
Late Case/Hold Over/Inverse. When an employee is directed to hold over as the result of a late case, personnel shortage, or inverse, that employee shall not be required to report to their next scheduled shift for a period of ten (10) hours.
