Late Start/Early Release Sample Clauses
The Late Start/Early Release clause defines the conditions under which a project or service may begin later than originally scheduled or be completed and released earlier than planned. In practice, this clause outlines the procedures for notifying relevant parties of schedule changes, any adjustments to payment or deliverables, and the responsibilities of each party in accommodating the revised timeline. Its core function is to provide flexibility in project scheduling while ensuring that all parties are aware of and agree to changes, thereby minimizing disputes and maintaining project alignment.
Late Start/Early Release a. An employee who is serving as a witness and is not required to report to court until after the start of their work day or who is released from court before the end of his/her scheduled work day shall report to work for the hours which are not required for court duty or for related travel time.
b. Employees who are required to report to jury duty will not be required to work eight hours prior to reporting. If the employee’s service last four hours or more, including time going and returning from court the employee will not be required to work between 5 p.m. of the day of jury duty and 3 a.m. the following day per NRS 6.190.
Late Start/Early Release. In the event of an unanticipated late start, professional educators are expected to report to work (as road conditions allow) before the students arrive at school. Professional educators have a responsibility to notify their supervisor or designee if they are going to be delayed beyond the start of school. If they are not able to attend work due to inclement weather conditions, leave must be reported using the leave system. If a late start becomes a closure day it will be treated as a full day of school closure with no additional pay in excess of the professional educator’s yearly contracted salary. In the event of an unscheduled early release, professional educators will be permitted to leave once their supervisor has determined all students for which they are responsible are safely released home. The building principal will notify staff when they are released to go home. No loss of pay will result from early release.
Late Start/Early Release. In the event of a late start, an employee’s work schedule will be adjusted by the amount of time of the late start. In the event of an early release, employees may be dismissed from work immediately after all students have been dismissed. Employees will be given the option of taking available leave or making up the time within a week of the late start or early dismissal, provided any hours in excess of forty (40) in a week would be made up at a later.
