Common use of Laws to be Observed Clause in Contracts

Laws to be Observed. 1. The Consultant shall at all times observe and comply with all applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in any manner affecting the work, and shall indemnify and save harmless the Commission and its officers, agents and servants from any violation of any such law, ordinances, ruling, and regulations, whether such violations be by the Consultant or any subconsultant, or any of their agents or employees.

The Consultant shall at all times observe keep itself informed of and comply with all applicable federalfederal , state, state and local and municipal laws, ordinancesrules, rules regulations, orders, and regulations in any manner decrees ("Law") affecting the workservices including all environmental, and wage, labor, equal opportunity, safety, patent, copyright, or trademark laws. The Consultant shall indemnify the Authority and save hold the Authority harmless against any and all claims or liabilities arising from or based upon the Commission and its officers, agents and servants from any violation or alleged violation of any such law, ordinances, ruling, and regulations, whether such violations be Law caused directly or indirectly by or through the Consultant or any subconsultant, or any of their agents or employeesConsultant.

The Consultant shall at keep fully informed of all times observe and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local and municipal laws, ordinances, rules and regulations and all orders and decrees of bodies or tribunals having any jurisdiction or authority, which in any manner affecting affect those engaged or employed on the work, and shall indemnify and save harmless or which any way affect the Commission and its officers, agents and servants from any violation conduct of any such law, ordinances, ruling, and regulations, whether such violations be by the Consultant or any subconsultant, or any of their agents or employeeswork.
