Common use of Leak Detection and Vapor Recovery Clause in Contracts

Leak Detection and Vapor Recovery. The Contractor shall be responsible for regularly monitoring and inspecting the UST’s and ASTs assigned to it and for performing leak detection tests thereon in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Upon written request of the Authority, the Contractor shall provide copies of documentation of maintenance and annual checks of the Xxxxxx-Xxxx Tank Monitoring System, tank leak detection, line leak detectors and tightness testing, fuel high level alarms, and vapor recovery systems. The Authority shall be notified immediately of any leaks, releases, or failure of monitoring systems discovered at any time by the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for repairs of any monitoring system.
